Celebrating the native Australian flora, Jacarandas in the City captures the luxurious purple hues of Jacaranda trees scattered throughout Sydney. Making these the focal point, the blue background and misty buildings bring the work together to welcome Spring season. The layered collage pieces provide depth through texture and form, redefining the perspective of the work in which the viewer is seemingly approaching the city through a lush collection of jacaranda trees.

The frame is approximately 1cm and there is an approximate 0.5cm gap between the frame and the canvas to give the shadow line effect.
